There is now an automatic notification system to alert you when an update has been made to the Emerald Ash Borer Infested Area Map or when other important information relating to EAB in Vermont becomes available. Please note, the map was last updated on 9/4/2018 to reflect an expansion in the known infested area in Groton.

Moving any infested material, especially ash firewood, logs, and pruning debris, can quickly expand the infestation of EAB. It is important that we work together and follow the ‘slow the spread’ recommendations that protect the health of Vermont’s forests.
