Outdoor Recreation in VT needs to take a survey!
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation is soliciting input from outdoor recreation sector, including providers, advocates, and businesses, via this online survey to help understand views on outdoor recreation in Vermont, and for use in developing Vermont’s next Statewide Comprehensive
Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP). The survey is designed to understand provider experiences, challenges,
and priorities in providing outdoor recreation activities, management of existing recreation facilities, and
barriers to expanding opportunities for outdoor recreation, as well as organizational information.
This study is being conducted by the Center for Rural Studies (CRS) at the University of Vermont and the
Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation. We welcome your input!
Vermonters can take the survey at https://fpr.vermont.gov/SCORP. To have a paper copy of the survey mailed to you, call 802-598-4551 or email amy.kelsey@uvm.edu. The survey will be available online from August 12th until September 9th.
